Management Analysts conduct a variety of studies, research and analysis of management and administrative areas such as budgeting and financial analysis; departmental operations; legislative analysis; management research; and statistical and informational analysis.
Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform advanced-level work and may provide work direction and training to others.
This position is the Fiscal Services lead analyst for the DHCFP County Match, School Based Services, and other projects. The successful incumbent will use numerous automated tools include but not limited to, the Microsoft Office Suite, notably Outlook, Excel, and Access to ensure the programs meet established federal and state directives. Experience with IBM-Truven Health Analytics Advantage Suite would be very desirable.
In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in public or business administration, finance, social sciences, mathematics or related field and two years of professional experience in the research, development, evaluation or revision of programs, organizations, methods or procedures; OR one year of experience as a Management Analyst I in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience on a year-for-year basis.
