The Position
Business Process Analysts apply an in-depth knowledge of the agency's program areas to define and implement a solution to a given problem that requires an individually tailored response for end-user requirements.
This position serves as the lead business administrator of case management and eDiscovery software used within the office, with the majority of time spent on ProLaw, our primary case management and time tracking system. The person in this position acts as the liaison between IT and agency staff, responds to help desk requests regarding the software administered, chairs the ProLaw committee, and is responsible for ensuring consistent documented procedures for use throughout the office, including training on those procedures. For new functions or new business software, incumbent will work with users to develop business process work flows, gather requirements, and lead the system testing and training efforts. Position supervises a Program Officer I.

To Qualify:
In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
    Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business, public administration, management information systems, or other disciplines related to the assignment and one year of professional experience analyzing and interpreting program laws, regulations, policies and procedures, which included experience applying recognized data processing concepts to business process planning and analyses; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special Requirements
    A pre-employment criminal history check and fingerprinting are required.
    A State of Nevada/ FBI background check will be required of the selected applicant.
    Requires a valid driver's license or evidence of equivalent mobility at the time of appointment and for continuing employment.
Additional Position Criteria
    This position requires experience with the administration of a document management system.
