Education Programs Directors, Supervisors, and Professionals assist and foster the growth of early childhood, pre-K, K-12, postsecondary, adult, and related education programs throughout Nevada by providing technical assistance, training, and oversight.
This position will support school districts to reach and maintain performance and compliance indicators in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations governing the provision of special education services for students with disabilities, including coordinating and providing professional development, leading change efforts for school and district improvement by utilizing skills relative to data collection, data analysis, technology, and instructional leadership. Additionally, this position will implement monitoring and compliance efforts relative to NRS 388, NAC 388, and Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) in regard to day to day general supervision requirements and dispute resolution mandates and criteria. This position has a 25% travel requirement.

An earned Doctoral degree from an accredited college or university in business, economics, education, English, math, nutrition, psychology, science, sociology, statistics, or related field and one year of professional experience in an educational program area; OR Master's degree from an accredited college or university in business, economics, education, English, math, nutrition, psychology, science, sociology, statistics, or related field and two years of professional experience in an educational program area. |

The most qualified applicants will be contacted by the hiring agency for interview. The hiring agency may require specific skills related testing as part of the interviewing process. |
