The Position
Prison Industries Supervisors manage, plan, organize and supervise operation(s) of Prison Industries program(s) and ensure their profitable operation.
The incumbent will supervise and train inmates in horse training techniques, report and track labor, supervise work assignments, and review training and discipline; prepare for and conduct horse adoption events; and work with local horse and Mustang organizations to promote program; maintain files on all horses boarded and trained by the Ranch; monitor Bureau of Land Management (BLM) grant; prepare and submit BLM reports as required; process related paperwork. These duties and responsibilities dictate possession of advanced knowledge in horse training, using resistance-free methods; and comprehensive knowledge of treatment of common sicknesses and injuries of horses; and understanding of basic nutritional needs of horses.

To Qualify:
In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
    Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business administration or closely related field and one year of supervisory experience in a business environment producing manufactured goods or providing services including setting production/work schedules, recordkeeping, and ensuring availability of materials and supplies; OR graduation from high school or equivalent education and three years of experience as described above; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special Requirements
    A State of Nevada/FBI background check will be required of the selected applicant.
