Licensed Psychologists provide psychological testing, evaluation, psychotherapy, counseling, and consultation to clients or inmates in residential, inpatient and outpatient settings, at a mental health, intellectual disabilities, or correctional facility, or in other settings where psychological services are provided.
This Licensed Psychologist I is part time position located in Las Vegas, Nevada with a work schedule of Monday - Friday 8am-12 noon. This position will be responsible for conducting program evaluation, quality assurance, and quality improvement activities for children's mental health. This position provides technical expertise needed to design and conduct evaluation of programs within DCFS Children's Mental Health and in the community. This position evaluates the effectiveness of services and develops and monitors adherence to quality standards.The position develops policies and procedures, determines and evaluates service delivery goals, and ensures that internal and external providers meet policy and regulatory standards. May participate in or lead workgroups with multiple agencies and community partners in order to interpret relevant legislation and create policies and procedures for implementation. This position may administer, score, and interpret standardized measures for program evaluation. This position will design and compose aggregate and individual program reports. This position is familiar with clinical assessment methods. This position may develop and conduct training within DCFS Children's Mental Health and in the community on clinical assessment methods, clinical topics, best practice, and evidence informed intervention approaches and practices utilizing a system of care approach. Training may be provided to a broad array of practitioners that could range from mental health clinicians to specialized foster care parents. Professional duties are performed in accordance with license requirements of the State of Nevada Board of Psychological Examiners.

In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:

One year of post-doctoral experience in providing psychological services in an inpatient, outpatient or residential setting. |

Licensed Psychologist I's must possess current licensure as a Psychologist issued by the State of Nevada Board of Psychological Examiners at the time of appointment and maintain licensure as a condition of continuing employment. |

A pre-employment criminal history check and fingerprinting are required. Persons offered employment in this position will be required to pay for these items. |
