The Position
Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform work independently with little or no additional training.*** THIS RECRUITMENT MAY CLOSE AT ANY TIME BASED ON THE AMOUNT OF APPLICATIONS RECEIVED. APPLICANTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. ***
Through a community partnership, this position will be responsible for working with clients 15 to 25 years of age who are experiencing, or in early stages of their first episode of a psychotic disorder. Incumbent will carry out services by helping youth obtain and sustain education/employment that is consistent with their educational/vocational goals and recovery. Will work collaboratively with the client and the team to assess, plan, develop, coordinate and proved treatment, rehabilitation and support.

To Qualify:
In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
    Master's degree from an accredited college or university in vocational rehabilitation, rehabilitation, occupational therapy or closely related human services field; OR Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in vocational rehabilitation, rehabilitation, occupational therapy, psychology, sociology, education or related field and one year of experience working with individuals with mental illness in a vocational/employment setting utilizing current vocational assessments, training, job placement, and psychosocial habilitation theories; OR graduation from high school or equivalent education and three years of experience in a vocational/employment setting utilizing current vocational assessments/ interviews, training, job placement, and psychosocial habilitation theories; and two years working with individuals with disabilities including mental illness; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special Requirements
    A pre-employment criminal history check and fingerprinting are required. Persons offered employment in this position will be required to pay for these items.
    A State of Nevada/FBI background check will be required of the selected applicant.
The Examination

The exam will consist of an application evaluation. It is essential that applications include detailed information with time frames regarding education and experience. The most qualified applicants will be contacted by the hiring agency for interview. The hiring agency may require specific skills related testing as part of the interviewing process.
