Mental Health Counselors provide counseling, case management, direct clinical services, community and home based services, and behavioral and human services to mentally ill, developmentally disabled and/or emotionally disturbed clients in an outpatient, residential, community or similar setting.

Mental Health Counselors provide group, family, couple, and individual therapy to clients of all ages while ensuring that delivered services are consistent with State and Third Party Standards of Care. The position will conduct triage, screenings and intake assessments with accompanying evaluation documents; conduct and maintain eligibility determinations and prior authorizations as required; develop, implement and maintain Treatment Plans; conduct discharge and aftercare planning; participate in multi-disciplinary teams (MDT) as needed; provide crisis services and complete required documentation for voluntary/involuntary hospitalization as needed. Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform work independently, with an understanding of confidentiality and HIPAA and are either carrying a current Nevada State License as an LCSW, MFT or CPC or eligible to obtain said license(s). This position is located at Silver Springs Counseling and Supportive Services (ECSS) in Sliver Springs, NV. ECSS provides an atmosphere of innovative thinking, teamwork, dedication, and genuine positive regard for both clients and staff. We are an approved site for various loan repayment programs.
