Personnel Analysts are responsible for performing comprehensive personnel functions for a state department, division or agency. Work may involve employee relations, recruitment and selection, classification and compensation,
employee development, benefit administration, staffing and payroll.
--The University of Nevada School of Medicine (UNSOM) is recruiting for a full-time Personnel Analyst 2. This position is responsible for coordinating and managing pay administration, statewide, for UNSOM. The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating daily pay matters, such as the development and release of new contracts, as well as collaboration with UNR to ensure contract renewal functions smoothly and employees are paid. The incumbent is expect to resolve the most complicated pay issues, provide training and guidance to departments regarding pay matters, and ensure pay is managed within compliance. The position works closely with Budget and Finance and UNR HR employees.
--The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; this is subject to change based on organizational needs. In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in public administration or a related field and two years of progressively responsible professional personnel experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

This position requires experience with human resource software packages, such as HRMS, PeopleSoft, Advantage, or other data management system. |

This position requires experience with automated accounting software/systems. |

This position requires experience managing pay administration to include coordinating daily pay matters, reviewing contracts and responding to questions related to policies and procedures. |

This position requires experience supervising employees.
