Electricians perform skilled electrical work to maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment.
Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform work independently with little or no additional training.
This position will report to the Division of Facilities Management located at the Cheyenne Campus. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Must follow instructions, cooperate and interact with CSN staff, vendors, students, and faculty. Maintain high quality of customer service. Requires utilizing PC for Work Order System "TMA", leave, emails, building management system and other associated software. Must adhere to NEC, local/state/building codes. Work with complex Electrical controls, automation, wiring, low voltage, communications, and data. This position will work with 120,277,480,230, single phase, three phase, 24 and DC. Responsible for the maintenance, service, repair, and diagnostic duties associated with Electrical work. This position will consist of preventative maintenance on Electrical, UPS, Lighting, LEDs, equipment, pumps, motors, exhaust fans, and other associated Electrical equipment. This position will require the understanding and ability to work with Data, Low Voltage, High Voltage, BMS lighting controls, electrical panels, live power, and MCC switch gear. This position may require occasional traveling between campuses and working extended hours and weekends as needed. Special Note: Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of an extensive background check.

Completion of a recognized electrician apprenticeship program; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. |
