JOB INFORMATION

Retail Storekeepers perform merchandising and inventory control duties to maximize profits in a retail store or e-Commerce environment which includes canteen stores and coffee shops in correctional facilities and other State retail operations.
--Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) is recruiting for a Retail Storekeeper 1 in the Auxiliary Services Department. The position is responsible for stocking, maintaining and repairing vending machines; inventory rotation and quality assurance inspections; cash collections and food and beverage orders.
--The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; this is subject to change based on organizational needs. This position does not provide layoff rights and is contingent upon funding. In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
One year of storekeeping or retail experience which included stocking, sales and/or customer service.

Special Requirements
A State of Nevada/FBI background check will be required of the selected applicant.
Additional Position Criteria
This position does not provide layoff rights and is contingent upon funding.
This position requires having a valid driver's license at the time of appointment and as a condition of continued employment.
This position requires experience ordering food and/or beverage merchandise.
This position requires experience with inventory control procedures.
The Examination

RETAIL STOREKEEPER I (07.821) Written Exam
The exam will consist of a written weighted 100%.
