JOB INFORMATION
Work Type: Permanent, full time vacancies as they may occur
in this geographical location.
Incumbents function as supervisors to the Supervisory Right of Way Agents who train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned staff; assign and review work; and initiate disciplinary action.
This position is located in the Right-of-Way Division, Carson City. Incumbent coordinates Statewide Right-of-Way project activities, schedules and budgets associated with property acquisitions/negotiations, property management and relocations assistance programs in order to accomplish Department goals and objectives; supervise and evaluate the performance of subordinate supervisors to ensure the timely and effective operations of the Right-of-Way Division; review appraisal reports to ensure consistent analysis and procedures used to determine compensation; issue memorandum establishing just compensations based upon the appraised Fair Market Value if the review appraisal was performed outside the Department.

In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree in business or public administration, real estate, finance, economics or related field and five years of progressively responsible right-of-way experience, two years of which involved supervising or administering one or more major activities of a comprehensive right-of-way program; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special Requirements
A valid driver's license or evidence of equivalent mobility is required at the time of appointment and as a condition of continued employment.
Additional Position Criteria
This position requires experience in the acquisition of real property and/or relocation of individuals and businesses pursuant to the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970, as amended (Uniform Act).
