Maintenance Repair Workers perform semi-skilled work in the building and mechanical trades to repair, construct, and/or maintain buildings, facilities and equipment.
-- Great Basin Community College is recruiting for a Maintenance Repair Worker 2 for the Pahrump Valley Center located in Pahrump, NV. The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining the entire facility; managing, repairing, and installing all mechanical, plumbing, and electrical equipment and fixtures; setting up classrooms; performing custodial, grounds and landscaping maintenance; following proper safety protocols and securing windows, doors, and alarm systems; and other duties as assigned.
-- The typical work schedule is Monday through Thursday 1:30pm - 10:30pm and Friday 9:00am - 6:00pm; this is subject to change based on organizational needs. This position is designated as Essential Personnel. In the event of a campus emergency, special event, closure to maintain campus safety or building operations, this position may be required to work outside of regularly scheduled hours. Two years of building, grounds and equipment maintenance
experience in performing semi-skilled building/grounds and equipment maintenance work; OR one year of experience as a Maintenance Repair Worker I in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. |
