JOB INFORMATION

-- The University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting for a Facility Attendant for the Residential Life, Housing, and Food Services department. The main purpose of this position is to ensure safety and security of residents and buildings on UNR Campus property. The incumbent will be responsible for foot patrol of facility and building security; watching for unauthorized personnel, fires, or other dangers to the building and its occupants; screening visitors; and performing related work as required.
-- This position works 40 hours a week during the academic year, takes one month off during winter closure, and works a variable schedule during summer months; this is subject to change based on organizational needs. The position is contingent upon funding and does not provide lay-off rights. In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
Graduation from high school or equivalent education and six months of experience involving public contact.
