JOB INFORMATION
Work Type: Permanent, full time vacancies as they may occur
in this geographical location.
Management Analysts conduct a variety of studies, research and analysis of management and administrative areas such as budgeting and financial analysis; departmental operations; legislative analysis; management research; and statistical and informational analysis.
Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform advanced-level work and may provide work direction and training to others.
The Division of Welfare and Supportive Services is recruiting for a vacancy located in our Budget and Statistics Unit at Central Office. The position functions as one of the Division's Certified Contract Managers. The position is responsible for bid solicitations, RFIs (Request for Information), RFPs (Request for Proposals), bid evaluations, contract negotiations, preparation of contracts, maintenance of the contract tracking database, preparation of contract authority budget reporting, entry of contract data in CETS, and reconciliation of contract payments and budget authority. This position is also responsible for monitoring contracts for quality of service and rating vendor performance. The incumbent writes and revises contract procedures for the Welfare Administrative Manual, provides training to contract monitors, and advises staff on contract procedures.
In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in public or business administration, finance, social sciences, mathematics or related field and two years of professional experience in the research, development, evaluation or revision of programs, organizations, methods or procedures; OR one year of experience as a Management Analyst I in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience on a year-for-year basis.
Special Requirements
Statewide travel is required.
