JOB INFORMATION
Work Type: Permanent, full time vacancies as they may occur
in this geographical location.
Personnel Analysts are responsible for performing comprehensive personnel functions for a state department, division or agency. Work may involve employee relations, recruitment and selection, classification and compensation,
employee development, benefit administration, staffing and payroll.
This position is in the Compensation, Classification & Recruitment section. Responsibilities include developing and managing a variety of activities such as recruitment, layoff consultation, examination development, and strategic/work force planning strategies; and providing NV Apps Training on a continuing basis. Position may also perform duties related to classification.
In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in public administration or a related field and two years of progressively responsible professional personnel experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Position Criteria
Experience with planning, developing and conducting recruitments for a large number of diverse jobs in a public or large private sector environment.
