JOB INFORMATION
Work Type: Permanent, full time vacancies as they may occur
in this geographical location.
Personnel Analysts are responsible for performing comprehensive personnel functions for a state department, division or agency. Work may involve employee relations, recruitment and selection, classification and compensation,
employee development, benefit administration, staffing and payroll.
An incumbent in this class is expected to operate on an independent basis.
This position is in the Compensation, Classification & Recruitment section. Responsibilities include developing and managing a variety of activities such as recruitment; layoff consultation; examination development; strategic/workforce planning strategies; and providing NV Apps Training on a continuing basis.
In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in public administration or a related field and three years of progressively responsible professional personnel experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Position Criteria
Experience with Planning, Developing and Conducting recruitments for a large number of diverse jobs in a public or large private sector environment.
