The Position
Incumbents function as managers who train, supervise and evaluate the performance of subordinate supervisors; develop policies and procedures; and allocate staff and resources to accomplish goals and objectives.
This position is located in the Equipment Division, Sparks, NV. Incumbent is responsible to administer the NDOT motor pool and fleet program; supervise auditing section to establish rental rates, assuring accurate billing requests and reports; plan and administer the Equipment Division budget; administer NDOT Sign Department to ensure they are in compliance with M.U.T.C.D.; set policy and procedures for all shops and stockrooms throughout the State and supervise Equipment Division personnel.

To Qualify:
In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
    Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, business administration or closely related field and three years of highway construction and maintenance equipment procurement and fleet management experience which included responsibilities for establishing program goals and objectives, policy development and administration, and supervision of professional staff; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Position Criteria
    This position requires incumbent to possess experience with fleet equipment purchasing.
    This position requires experience with fleet management, stockroom inventory and shop operations.
