JOB INFORMATION
Work Type: Intermittent vacancies as they may occur
in this geographical location.
Student Workers perform routine and repetitive duties, which require basic skills and can be learned in a short time, generally less than a week.
Incumbents perform in a trainee capacity and acquire the knowledge, skills and abilities required in this occupation.

This position is located at the Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation in the Carson City Workforce Investment Support Services (WISS) office. Duties will be clerical support to include data entry, typing, copying, handling mail and faxing documents. Hours worked will be based on the student's school schedule and allowable work hours.
In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
Current enrollment in, or recent graduation from, an educational program leading to a high school diploma.
Special Requirements
This class is used to employ students or high school graduates, but employment may not extend beyond six months from date of graduation. The student will be required to provide proof of enrollment in an educational program or of high school graduation.

The exam will consist of an application evaluation. It is essential that applications include detailed information with time frames regarding education and experience.
