The Position
Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency in laundry operations including the mending, repairing and pressing of laundered garments. The incumbent must perform work independently with little or no additional training.
Under general direction, instruct inmates in a discipline or field by providing both written instruction and practical training in order to teach vocational skills and processes, use of equipment, appropriate health and safety measures and work ethics and attitudes.

To Qualify:
In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
    Five years of journey level experience in the field to be taught; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience in which the applicant demonstrates possession of the entry level knowledge, skills and abilities.
Special Requirements
    A State of Nevada/FBI background check will be required of the selected applicant.
The Examination

The exam will consist of an application evaluation. It is essential that applications include detailed information with time frames regarding education and experience. The most qualified applicants will be contacted by the hiring agency for interview. The hiring agency may require specific skills related testing as part of the interviewing process.
