The Position
Park Aides perform routine custodial and general facility and equipment maintenance duties, assist visitors, collect fees and assist in the operation of a State park.
Incumbents perform in a trainee capacity and acquire the knowledge, skills and abilities required in this occupation.
Park Aid positions for the Fallon Region are located at:
Berlin-Ichthyosaur State Park-Austin, Nevada
Fort Churchill State Historic Park-Silver Springs, Nevada
Lahontan State Recreation Area-Fallon/Silver Springs, Nevada
Rye Patch State Recreation Area-Lovelock/Imlay,

Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
Graduation from high school or equivalent education.
Special Requirements
A valid driver's license is required at the time of appointment and as a condition of continued employment.

The Examination
Application Evaluation Exam
The exam will consist of an application evaluation. It is essential that applications include detailed information with time frames regarding education and experience. The most qualified applicants will be contacted by the hiring agency for interview. The hiring agency may require specific skills related testing as part of the interviewing process.
