APPROXIMATE ANNUAL SALARY -  $45,560.16 to  $67,692.96  PAY GRADE: 35

The Position
Management Analysts conduct a variety of studies, research and analysis of management and administrative areas such as budgeting and financial analysis; departmental operations; legislative analysis; management research; and statistical and informational analysis.
Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform advanced-level work and may provide work direction and training to others. This position is part of our Elder Rights unit and will be responsible to develop rates for service reimbursement and conduct audits and site reviews. They will develop a quality management process and assure quality management activities are completed. This position will submit Federal reports, Director's office reports and Legislative reports. This position will supervise lower level staff.

To Qualify:
In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
    Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in public or business administration, finance, social sciences, mathematics or related field and two years of professional experience in the research, development, evaluation or revision of programs, organizations, methods or procedures; OR one year of experience as a Management Analyst I in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience on a year-for-year basis.

    Appointment to any level in this series requires successful completion of a written examination.

    A pre-employment criminal history check and fingerprinting are required. Persons offered employment in this position will be required to pay for these items.

The exam will consist of a written weighted 100%.
