Conservation Aids assist professional staff in a variety of projects involving the conservation and preservation
of the State's natural resources.

Incumbents perform in a trainee capacity and acquire the knowledge, skills and abilities required in this occupation.
The Fisheries Management Division has seasonal positions perform a variety of duties related to wildlife management, conservation, fish culture and wildlife ecology. Positions could range from 3 or 6 month duration over the summer and early fall months, working four 10-hour days in the field and camping at remote location sites on the workdays with openings in Panaca and Las Vegas. All positions require a valid driver's license at the time of appointment and as a condition of continuing employment. Seasonal housing is not available. Applicant is responsible for securing housing at all other locations.

Graduation from high school or equivalent education. |

Work may be performed under adverse weather conditions and include extensive walking under difficult conditions and camping in remote, primitive locations. |
