Maintenance Repair Workers perform semi-skilled work in the building and mechanical trades to repair, construct, and/or maintain buildings, facilities and equipment.
Incumbents perform in a trainee capacity and acquire the knowledge, skills and abilities required in this occupation.

The Nevada Division of State Parks is recruiting for a seasonal Maintenance Repair Worker I at Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park. The park includes the Sand Harbor, Spooner Backcountry, Cave Rock and Van Sickle management areas, all located in the Lake Tahoe area with a duty station at Sand Harbor near Incline Village. This seasonal position will primarily be funded 2-3 months, beginning in April. Maintenance Repair Workers perform semi-skilled work in the building, grounds, and mechanical trades to repair, construct, and/or maintain buildings, facilities and equipment. Incumbents for this position must be able to perform basic plumbing, carpentry, and electrical tasks to include maintenance on water and sewer systems.
Incumbents may be required to work various hours and shifts including holidays and weekends. Applicants may also be required to demonstrate the ability to perform job-related tasks during an interview.
In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
One year of experience in performing general building, grounds and equipment maintenance work; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Special Requirements
A valid Class C Nevada driver's license is required at the time of appointment and as a condition of continuing employment.
